1. Assigned groups

• Read and Annotate all 3 poems on p.670-675 in your workbook.

• Do your comprehension check?’s after the poems on page 676 and 677. Skip the research section. Each group member needs to do all of the work in your workbook and collaborate.

Remember to keep your volume to a quiet discussion level with your group. Put away all distractions (cell phones, Chrome books and other work) Ask questions in your group first and then ask me for help.

2) First do Google classroom submissions (Cyclops one-chunk and pg. 640 essays)and turn in your homework before you leave stapled. (Sleuth annotation with 2 DOK 3?s, DOK handout all and p. 618 Review and Assess 1-3)

3) Read “The Ugly Duckling” (If time to start today…) There will be time next class period.

•     Do a plot map.
•     Go to Google classroom.
•     Go to your class period stream. See September 11th.
•     Find “The Ugly Duckling” green icon for Pearson and click on it.
•     Log into Pearson. Directions have to log in are in the comments sections.
