1. Annotate part II of the Odyssey with the objective to find examples (evidence) of Odysseus's strengths and weaknesses as a leader. See workbook page 640 for the prompt.
2. Extra credit is due 10/12 for EVEN and 10/15 for ODD. This will be on Quarter grades. See Google classroom for details.
3. Book Review (New deadline due to District PT)

Agenda:
1. Read the article about Cyclops and annotate. Write and submit your one-chunk paragraph explaining whether the remains could or could not be from a Cyclops. Use Google classroom. You may work in pairs.
2. Revise your Odysseus double-chunk or work on extra credit or read your IR book.

Haiku Revisions

Journey Haikus may be revised and still need to be given back to all students. Therefore, they will not be calculated into the progress grades, but the grade can be seen in IC after I do updates. After students have papers back then they will become active again in the calculation and the grade (points given) will stay unless a revision is done that raises the grade.

  2. Keep reading your IR book. Remember to renew your IR book if checked out from the WR library.

2. Final Copy of Odysseus Paragraph (Handwritten in black or blue pen is acceptable.) There is also a spot in Google classroom to submit your FINAL COPY. I will accept rough drafts next class for stamping without a penalty.
Remove sentences starters such as TS, CD, CM...CS when you do your final copy and remember to title your final copy.

MEET IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY ON THE 17TH FOR YOUR LIBRARY ORIENTATION. BE SURE TO PUT ALL FOOD AND DRINKS AWAY BEFORE ENTERING THE LIBRARY. GUM IS PROHIBITED IN THE LIBRARY.
