Period 2 grades are accurate and I added the library assignment. I am working on finalizing other classes. I need to add an extra credit assignment to one column and make sure grades are the same as the Quarter before adding new work.

Gradebook being fixed (March 27th, 2019) Infinite Campus

I am fixing my Infinite Campus Gradebook by moving all items from Term to Semester. Quarter 3 Grades were not affected by this at all.This will allow me to add more assignments correctly for the duration of this semester. Please be patient. I hope to finish by tomorrow. Some columns have to be hand typed as they didn't properly transfer.

Get a laptop and log into the system. Wait for further computer directions. Then, return your novel, Of Mice and Men after you logged onto the system. Be sure all food, drinks and phones are put away for the class period. You may drink one at a time in the lobby section.

I will be accepting What?/So What? late until March 29th 2:45 p.m. (Extension), but it will not be taken after this date. The penalty will increase from -2 to -4 if turned in after the Quarter deadline. We will finish the unit and start a new one after Spring Break. The deadline for any late Of Mice and Men work is Friday, March 29th 2:45 p.m.

The deadline for other Unit 2 late work is April 12th (2:45 p.m.) for EVEN and April 15th (2:45 p.m.) for ODD. (This includes"The Seventh Man" and "The Most Dangerous Game" plus any other work after Of Mice and Men. for Unit 2.)

Check for grade updates before your next class period. I am still grading What?/So What? and paragraph #2 practice for some class periods. I am not planning on doing any updates until Monday morning.

Homework: Bring your IR book to class to read if you have extra time in class. Do journal #4. There may be time after Day 1 of the PT.

1. "The Seventh Man" Essay counterargument (4 paragraphs) See me for notes and clarification if needed. Due in Google classroom (3-14-19 EVEN and 3-15-19) I changed the due date to give you time to type in class. :) No Chromebooks may be used next class period as it is Day 1 of the PT and Day 2 you may use a Chromebook, but you have to finish your PT first before working on "The Seventh Man" essay. (There may not be extra time so bring a hard copy rough draft or Google doc on 3-14 EVEN or 3-15 ODD to finish.) The library is open regular hours except it is closed next late start in the morning before classes start.
2. "The Seventh Man" Close Read (PAGES 133-144) Answers must be recorded in your workbook.

1. Absent students: Your counselor will call you in to register for Sophomore year. There will be a 4 year plan assignment to complete in Naviance. You may work on this in class on the 14th (EVEN) and 15th (ODD). It will be homework officially that night. If you have a Naviance issue then see your counselor for help. 2. Of Mice and Men Test corrections (chapters 1-6) Get a half a point for every answer corrected. These points have all been recorded in Infinite Campus as of after school on 3-17-29 except for absent students. See me in tutorial or after you PT to do test corrections.

2. Close Read "The Seventh Man" pages 133-144 (Due on March 14th - EVEN) and (March 15th - ODD) Do all the annotations, questions, and concludes. This may help you with your essay and should be done after First Read. Only hard copies will be accepted for this assignment.
